Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to some Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying the role of actress Savitri on the Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). Additionally, she was awarded a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy has the father of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her professional career started in the early 2000s as a child actor. She returned to the film industry following her study of fashion. She had her first lead role in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The film did not perform well at the box office. It is A. L. Vijay together with Vikram and Vikram, who premiered Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The movie didn't do much, but it did release. The actress had to pull out of several films she was working on in 2015, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam in order to allow for bigger projects. The actress was in two films quickly, along together with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also one of the main actors in Prabhu's Thodari. But, the movie has been delayed since 2015, with reports of release after September 2020 under a new title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), which featured Ram Pothineni as the actor was Keerthy's debut. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay.
